People First Keighley & Craven is a self-advocacy group run by, and for, people with learning disabilities, and the People First Podcast is our platform to raise awareness about the real issues that affect people with learning disabilities in our community, and all over the world. We aim to inform and entertain our listeners by interviewing interesting guests and talking about the things that really matter to us. This is like having a stage, to speak out and get our voices heard.

This week's episode of the People First Podcast is a Learning Disability Awareness Week special! Fitting with this year's theme of "Do You See Me", we got the absolute privilege to spend an afternoon with someone who has seen us all from outer space: Hayley Arceneaux!
Hayley, a physician at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and went on the Inspiration4 in 2021, making herself one of the few disabled AND the youngest American to go to space! All of us were so excited to get to listen to such an interesting and brave woman who is an inspiration to all of us. We hope you enjoy the show!
